What are Category Inquiries?
On Machineseeker.com, potential buyers can not only inquire about specific listings but also have the option of submitting general purchase requests. In this case, buyers who are not necessarily looking for a specific machine can contact dealers registered in a certain category by sending so-called general inquiries. These Category Inquiries – also called General Inquiries – lead to additional customer contacts for subscribers of the respective category (e.g. machining centers horizontal).
This is how it works
On Machineseeker, every potential buyer can submit a request via Search > Submit request. The user selects the category that matches his inquiry, enters his contact details and then adds a message (e.g. "Search Linde electric forklift with a lifting height of over 3,000 mm"). As a subscriber to the respective category, you will receive the request as an e-mail. You can then contact the potential buyer directly by using the reply feature.
